DUI

Charged with DUI/OWI? Call My Office Today.

In Michigan, drunk driving charges involve serious legal consequences and have a severe and permanent impact on your life. A drunk driving conviction can result in jail or prison time, a heavy fine, and suspension or revocation of a driver's license. In the last twenty years, the penalties for drunk driving have become far more severe than they were in the past. First-time offenders face potential jail time and fines, although often the penalty for a first-time offense will be something less than jail time when there is a guilty plea. Repeat offenders are usually treated more harshly, with substantial fines and jail sentences that may not be suspended or waived by the court. State administrative regulations often call for suspension or revocation of a defendant's driver's license in addition to any criminal penalty.

I have been helping clients get through misdemeanor DUI / OWI charges, with tremendous success in avoiding jail sentences and getting clients' driver's licenses restored. Don't Go It Alone!!

Many people who find themselves involved in the criminal justice system have never been in trouble with the law before. They are decent, hard-working people who just made a mistake. Now, they find themselves overwhelmed and scared by the legal process.

With over 15 years of experience helping those arrested or facing criminal charges for the first time, I know that everyone makes mistakes. I am committed to providing you with expert, non-judgmental representation during this difficult time. A first time offender may be eligible for a number of different resolutions to the case that could result in significantly reducing or dismissing the charge.
